Eléctrica Nueva Energía S.A. is an operational 18 MW capacity of a 24 hour NCRE (Non- conventional renewable energy) biomass co-generation power plant in the Biobío Region.

 

The Biobío Region is the most relevant forestry region in the country. In 2016 the region accounted for 47% of the forest plantation of the country.

 

ENESA has an experimented team with high expertise in biomass projects since the early ‘90s. This team built the first biomass plant in Chile.
